To walk in the fresh air every day

To eat well

To feel clean

To create

To have windows

To have a comfortable bed

To feel alive

To have purpose

To retain a sense of humour

To be true to myself

A Little Give and Take

I have signed up to Lyn's Pay it Forward. Lyn will be sending me a little hand made something and in return I have to find 3 people who would like to accept a gift from me and they have to do the same in return.

So, it works like this: you sign up to receive a gift and then when you have received your gift you send out a handmade gift to three other people who would like to accept a handmade gift and in turn they do the same and so it continues..............

You need to mention the Pay it Forward (PIF) on your blog and invite 3 other people to join in. There are 365 days in which to send your gift but I would suggest that it is done sooner rather than later in case it gets forgotten about.

If you would like to be one of my 3 recipients and are happy with the 'rules' set out above then please comment on this post. I am limiting this to UK participants only on this occasion due to postage costs.

I apologise for the 'bossy' tone of this post but I want to make sure that the terms and conditions are understood. Now if I haven't made you all run to the hills in fear, have I any takers?

The Arrival

Overnight they come in their masses

Weaving in and out of the blackberries

Setting up silvery traps

Strung like garlands across the garden

They patiently wait for an unsuspecting visitor

And then seize upon them in a

Frenzy of action

Cocooning them to feast upon

.......and the winner is..................

Twenty names were written down, cut into strips and folded. They were then shaken up in a very large coffee jar before being transferred into a very nice mug.

I asked my son if he would do the honours of drawing the winner.

Today is a glorious, crisp, autumn day.

A perfect day to get some outside shots of my rubber stamped notecards.
