Time Out

I am going to have a little time out from my blog. Just a little time to collect my thoughts and get some equilibrium into my life. Sometimes I say far too much, things that should go unsaid before I press the 'post' button.'Think before you act' should be my motto.

With the onset of Spring I have been able to get a lot more done out in the garden.  I have been observing things too that were previously unseen such as the blossom on my dwarf Victoria plum tree coming out before the leaves and on my dwarf Braeburn apple, the reverse happens; the leaves come before the blossom.  I hadn't noticed that before.

  2. I know exactly what you mean. I have been noticing things too. I have been home a year now I have noticed Spring is very late this year. I have actually noticed the way leaves unfoil themselves, how certain things grow and thrive.
Don't be away too long I for one will miss you.

  3. Hope that like me you will find taking a little time out will recharge the batteries and you'll see things differently for having taken a break. You will be missed but no doubt your followers will be waiting when you return to welcome you back. If you feel the need to put into words your feelings but don't wish to share them all try writing them and printing them out as a sort of diary - it works!

  6. This is the best time in the garden I think - once all last year's debris has been cleared and before all the weeds take over my large patch almost looks tidy! I've been hearing bumble bees around this week too. Once my craft fair on Saturday is over I too am really going to concentrate on the garden..... I haven't got a single potato or onion planted yet! But hey - Monty Donn only planted his potatoes last week!

  8. Relax, chill and recharge. Sometimes it's not just houses and gardens that need a spring clean and a declutter- sometimes our minds do too-So make the most of your time away from Blogland. We'll all still be here when you get back :)
