I feel a bit scattered at the moment and couldn't decide what to photograph so I used a photo from spring last year. I am feeling much like the contemplative angel sitting above (yet without the serene expression!). I have so many things I want to make and do that it is difficult to focus on just one thing. When faced with so many choices and decisions I tend to do nothing and want to either hide away or sleep! Well, here is where I am hoping that my blog readers can be my saviours! From the list below, could you choose something for me to make? I will make the item that gets the most votes and then offer it up in a giveaway!
- Earrings
- OOAK (one of a kind) art doll
- Soap
- Bead and wire crocheted necklace
- Spring fairy (like the grumpy ones but smiley!)
- Cat toy (with Valerian herb)
Three of the things on the list I have never made so it will be a bit of a challenge! I do hope that I get as many comments as possible as I am itching to get started!
I missed my 6th blog birthday on 1st March so the giveaway will serve as a celebration that I am still very much alive in the World of blog.
Have a lovely weekend and please do let me know what you would like to see me make and maybe even win it! x
Happy anniversary to your blog. May I name two makes...... but I do understand where you are coming from I call it 'brain faster than fingers syndrome'! I suffer from it a lot!
ReplyDeleteMake an OOAK and a bead and wire necklace. I have taken to do two things, one thing where I can sit and watch a film whilst creating usually afternoon or evening and the other where I need to concentrate so I listen to the radio. Radio 2 or Radio 4-extra depending on the time of day or day of the week.

Happy blogiversary Simone, I'm so glad you're still in the land of blog!!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling of being overwhelmed and then end up doing nothing as you don't know which way to turn!
I suggest a Spring Fairy as I like anything with the word spring in it. :)
Happy weekend,

Happy Bloiversary! A bead and crochet necklace sounds good to me! Lovely and sunny here - the warmth and brightness are transforming! Have a good weekend, Simpne. Abby x
ReplyDeleteHappy blog-a-versary Simone.
ReplyDeleteI will have to go with the bead and crochet necklace given my love of your jewellery.

its been a long hard winter.. make a Spring faerie to help chase the winter blues away. Spring is a potent symbol of new beginnings and faeries are magical.. a winning combination!

Happy blogaversary!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between a wired crochet and bead necklace or the cat toy?........

definitely a OOAK - happy blogaversary xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a choice, Simone! I know what you mean about having so much to choose from that you end up doing nothing - no don't do that - make a fairy but then again you could make some more soap using all the things you learned about last time. I'll be interested to see what you choose. Happy blogging anniversary:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary, Simone!!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I would like to see you make a cat toy, although all of the choices sound enticing!! You have been so active on your blog, I have missed a few posts, but you inspire me to get going on my own, which has stalled a bit!!
So glad you are a blogging friend and such a lovely presence in the blogosphere!!
Happy Blogging Anniversary. For me it would have to be soap and soap as I already have a fairy and I just want to see more of the soap making.
ReplyDeleteNever limit yourself, Simone. Just follow the pull of the moment. It's not as if by choosing one path you're ignoring or denying the others. You're merely allowing them time to rise and be ready for your full attention later.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to choose an area for you to concentrate on right now it would be your necklaces. As evidenced by the blog that follows this one, you are definitely in tune with that medium right now.
Happy anniversary and keep blogging, my friend. I am a better person for visiting your blog each day whether I stop to comment or not. Keep up the fine work and may spring finally settle on your bit of earth and in your soul.
Six years? Well done Simone, here's to the next six.
ReplyDeleteHappy Bloganniversary Simone and I hope you'll be bloggging for many more years to come.
