Joy in June - Compassion Rose
There has been a spattering of rain today. Just enough to give the plants a drink and freshen up the dusty paths. The compassion rose reaches its peak in June. A pretty flower with the added bonus of being scented too. As I took this photo a cheeky green spider popped out from between the petals. Another unexpected joy in June!

What a beautiful rose and a super photo, Simone. I can even cope with the spider which seems far less threatening with it being green:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo, Simone! I love the gorgeous pink rose, and the little green spider complements the colour perfectly :)

Just caught up with your posts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of the rose, not so sure about the creepy crawly though!
How wonderful to have a finished product from the vineyard, all those hours you put in, so satisfying to see a result.
I like the idea of the June in Joy, hope you find lots.
