- My dying computer does not come on every day. Sometimes I imagine I hear the cogs turning in that old machine and other times its response is as dead as a dodo.
- I have come to the realisation that my blog is open to anyone and everyone that chooses to read it. This has made me feel very uncomfortable and wary of what I write.
- I feel worn out and weary.
- I've run out of words.
I am always wary what I write on my blog. I enjoy reading whatever you have to say, so if you should make your blog just invited readers only please could I join you, I would miss Linden Grove if you went away.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon, I wish I could meet you and just chat with you.

Hope you will feel better soon. Like Julie I wish I lived nearer and we could meet up for a natter something I always find helps. I know what you mean about being wary what you post. I notice tht a lot of the bloggers I used to "know" seem to have gone AWOL and either post very infrequently or not at all. I guess we do all get to the point that we have said it all. This time of year too many people are either busy and not around in Blogland or else they are posting masses of wonderful merry stuff which doesn't help if you are feeling a bit down. Maybe giving it a rest and coming back later would be the answer - we'd miss you if you weren't there at all any more though.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest Simone I'm also very bored with my blog, out of all my social media sites apart from Twitter (which I don't use very much) it's the one I like the least. Maybe you need a change, have you tried Instagram, I think you might like it!
ReplyDeleteAs for feeling weary, it's this blooming lack of daylight but it's not long until the the days lengthen again, just focus on that happy thought!

Hi Vivienne, I would like to have an instagram account but I do not have an iphone, ipad or ipod touch which I believe you need to have to sign up. I will just have to plod on with my out of date blogging and hope that people visit me from time to time! x
ReplyDeleteWell, I will always visit you, Simone. Like you I feel weary and tired all the time at the moment - something to do with the time of year perhaps? I know what you mean about running out of words too. Whatever you decide to do take time and hopefully things will feel ok again soon:)
ReplyDeleteSimone, it sounds like you could use a vacation! Even if you can't go on a real vacation you could create an imaginary one for yourself. Get some rest and rejuvenation. Write in your personal journal. Read inspiring books. Pamper yourself.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs and good thoughts your way.
Dear Simone I hope you feel better soon. I like this photo....in fact I always like your photos! Take care and just write when you feel like it.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a warm and cosy weekend.

We must find you some fun,
ReplyDeleteI think you need sun.
Have a break and come back when you feel inspired... there are no deadlines in cyber space! xx
Is your phone a smart phone? it doesn't have to be an iphone to have Instagram. I think it would suit you very well....Mine is more up to date than my blog!
ReplyDeleteBut I am determined to keep my blog going and I hope you do too. Take care. xxxxxx
Hi Lyn, I don't have a smart phone. I just have a second hand pay as you go! x
