I was very fortunate to receive a set of Japanese watercolour paints for Christmas. I already have pans of Cotman watercolour paints in the traditional colour palette but wanted to try some new vibrant colours. There is a beautiful turquoise shade and a wedgewood blue colour and even four metallic!
It seems such a shame to use them but I believe that they are the catalyst I need to get painting!
Wishing you all a Happy New Year full of creative opportunities x
What a lovely set of paints, I'm sure you will be inspired by their colours. Happy New year, Simone:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful present Simone! I do know what you mean about using them, they look so pristine but they're meant to be used, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them!!

ReplyDeleteWho makes them please?
Each of us could have received the identical color box and in the hands of not a one of us would the results be the same. Isn't that magical?

Oh yes you must....nothing like new paints to want to get creative!
