Colour Prints

Thank you all for your feedback on the last blog post.  I printed two more bags in the same design using Duck Blue and Bengali Rose professional fabric paints and am very pleased with how they turned out.  The reverse side has just one motif in the bottom right corner.  I propose to have them in my (neglected ) etsy shop by the end of the month.

Today is supposedly 'Blue Monday' the most miserable day of the year (don't they say this throughout the year?) and not being one to conform I am feeling most upbeat!  I have been out early and stocked up on groceries, I am in the warm, have books to read and am in good health.  What more could I need or want?

If you are not feeling particularly chipper today, hang on to the thought that things will get better.  They will.

  1. They're lovely Simone, I especially like the duck egg one!!!
Not sure why they use the term Blue Monday in January myself, days are getting longer, bulbs are pushing through, I think it would be best suited to a Monday before the end of the year!

  3. Oh I love those prints, so beautiful!! Like you, I am feeling pretty chipper today, far better than last week. I spent an hour walking around the local Arboretum after dropping O at nursery and then some time singing this afternoon, just because I haven't done it in so long. Of course today comes after a really horrid week, so maybe I was just impatient and got the miserable day over early ;) Cannot wait to see what else you create this year, Simone, these are stunning!!
