I have been trying to use my sketchbook this week. Here is a glimpse of a page on cute animals. I have been reading about creating volume in work, not perfection. Picasso was a prolific producer of art work but only a few of his paintings became famous (as far as I am aware). I am trying to concentrate on daily work - good, bad or indifferent.
Although I wish I could draw photo-realistic images I usually end up drawing something cute and unrealistic - a bit like me!!!
Love the bunnies! :)

Very cute, indeed. Love the bunny top right:)
ReplyDeleteI love these, Simone! My friends in my art classes always tease me about making "cute" art, but I've decided - what is wrong with that? I like to amuse myself! Hope you keep up the sketchbook. It's a very addictive pastime!! xx
ReplyDeleteGood to see you've found your cute mojo.xx
ReplyDeleteThe green bunny is extremely cute!

Sweet creatures. I agree with Judy - you should go with what you're 'drawn' to draw Simone :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you're interested or have the time but there is an interesting looking free 5 week course online starting June 26th about creating a daily, non-judgemental, sketching practice with Stanford University.
