Light at the End of a Tunnel

I walked through this tunnel today.  I had to bend over to stop my head hitting the top.  My two companions were not brave enough to walk through.  Later, they found a smallish zip wire. They both went on the zip wire and cajoled me into going on it.  My stomach flipped as I careered down the wire only for my husband to drag me back to the top and then let me go down again!  It was a great photo opportunity for all but luckily for me, the images will not be featuring on this blog!

  2. I have not been on a zip wire for many years - not sure I would now if presented with one. Well done for giving it a go - would have loved to have seen those pictures of you LOL!

    1. The zip wire was only a few feet off the ground but I was terrified that I might lose my grip on the rope and fall off and break something!

  3. A tunnel and a trip wire? You are very brave to attempt both, it sounds like an unusual and exciting day:)

    1. Hi Rosie. It was quite a mundane day really. The tunnel was very short but I thought it might make an interesting photograph. The zip wire was hidden in the woods on the Forty Hall Estate but we had to walk around and wait until it wasn't busy before we could get to have a go on it. I'm going stir crazy staying in the house all the time but I don't like the heat and thought I would take the chance to cool off in the nearby woods for a while. :)
