Home for Christmas

My son's home for Christmas. When I heard the wheels of the suitcase roll up the drive it was as though all my Christmas wishes came at once.  He is my inspiration and a pure joy to be around.  We share the same sense of humour and before long I was laughing until I could hardly breathe!

I made sure that the house was looking festive for his return but as it was late, the mince pies are still in the kitchen untouched.

It is grey, overcast and cold today but after an necessary early outing to pick up a parcel, I am cosy and warm inside the house.
