Furniture has been rearranged. Cushions have been plumped. Blankets are folded. Tables are cleared. Keeping busy. Trying not to think. Must clear out kitchen cupboards. Hen house needs cleaning out. Don't stop. Don't think. Don't read. Keep on keeping busy.
Gizmo is at the vets on a drip. Tomorrow he will have x-rays. Can't stop now. Must keep busy. Mustn't think too deeply. Need to re-arrange kitchen shelf.
Thinking of you Simone, and wishing your gorgeous ginger boy a very speedy recovery.

Oh no Simone, thinking of you, I know how awful those horrible waits are.

Been there done that only a couple of weeks back! I really though we'd seen the last of our beloved Tom (aged 15+) as he too was on a drip and tumours and diabetes were considered. He is back home now and out in the garden enjoying the sunshine and apart from his bald patches and the fact that he still needs to gain some more weight he is my old Tom again! Hope the same goes for your boy too.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well with the vets, best wishes to poor Gizmo!
