Anyway, I really wanted to blog today and hastily decorated my mantel piece just so that I would have a photograph to accompany this post! Whilst I have been convalescing I have been doing a little jewellery making with next year in mind and practising various techniques. I really should be out Christmas shopping but cannot face it just now as health wise I do feel at rock bottom. Thankfully I have done a bit of shopping in advance and if I conserve my energy for now I will be raring to go by Monday!
Must go now. Just realised that I haven't even dragged a comb through my hair today! I can be so sloven at times!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Oh poor you - I know how you feel having just had the same. I think you would be wise to stay indoors as not only would you pass your bug round to all and sundry your immune system will be compromised at the moment and you don't want to pick up anything else on top of it do you?! Hope you will feel better soon. Have you tried Sterimar for your sinuses? My French friend with whom I spoke via Skype whilst I was suffering suggested it and it seems to help although it might be that by the time I was well enough to go out and get some I was on the mend anyway! Keep warm and give yourself some TLC and hope you will soon be well and if the shopping doesn't get done postpone Christmas till later.
ReplyDeleteAwe poor you, having had problems with my sinuses, since forever, you have my complete sympathy. I'm sure you've tried everything but some Olbas oil in steaming water with a towel over your head can be very effective! Hope you feel much better soon.
ReplyDeleteYour mantle is looking lovely by the way!

Aw, hope you start to feel better soon, a cold can really make you feel rotten. Perhaps you should do some online shopping, avoid those busy, stuffy shops xx
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. These things happen because your body is telling you calm down

ReplyDeleteHope you're on the mend by now, I should be ok by the weekend.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year. xx
Yes there are some nasty sniffles going around at the moment, we're all just coming out of our most recent lurgy so know how you feel - get better soon! Love your jack in the green style mantle decorationsx
ReplyDeleteI hope you are taking good care of yourself. Nourishing and resting your body. Maybe by now you're even feeling back to normal? Hope you were able to shake off the bug quickly!
