Snowy Sunday

View from the bathroom window.  I am glad I have no reason to leave the house today.  I had planned to go to a festive wreath making workshop and Christmas event.  Unfortunately it was cancelled at the last minute due to the snow and hazardous road conditions.  I bet by Tuesday it will be like the snow never even came at all!

  1. What fun to find myself looking through your blog window and out of a window in your home! Seems the first snow of this season has arrived in many of my friends' worlds. Another way Mother Nature unites us all.
Sorry you had to miss your wreath making workshop. Hope they'll reschedule.

  3. It has been snowing most of the day here - not sure if we will wake up tomorrow to deep snow or whether it will all be gone.

  4. I love snow when you don't have to go anywhere but it is worrying when it causes so much chaos an the roads. Many events cancelled and attractions closed here yesterday, no further snow overnight but now we have freezing temperatures and ice, also a big pile up on the A50 not far away - we should have been going along there today but cancelled until later in the week. Stay safe and warm:)

  5. We had a sprinkling here, not quite as much as you and it is still icy today. Keep warm and cosy ☺

  6. What a lovely photo.
We are under a "winter storm warning" here in Vermont, with snow to fall until sometime tomorrow morning. Schools have already been cancelled as the roads are a mess. I am looking forward to a day of sewing and organizing and lots of tea!
    Take care, friend!

  10. Looks so lovely, Simone! A fresh, clean coat of bright white snow is one of my favorite things! (Especially if I have nowhere to go!)
