Dragonfly

I shared this photo on Instagram yesterday.  It was a case of being in the right place at the right time when the dragonfly landed on my washing line.

The photo is a bit grainy as I zoomed in with my phone.

      I had to rush indoors for my phone but the dragonfly stayed put for a while. :)

    Wow, you captured a wonderful shot of the dragonfly, Simone. They are so hard to take photos of as they flitter around so much, your visitor obviously needed to rest awhile:)

      Gizmo was looking up at the dragonfly from beneath the line. I followed his gaze and that is when I spotted the dragonfly! :)

    Great photo, Simone. I missed it on IG - sometimes I'm in a hurry and go through it quickly. I actually saw a large dragonfly on my car windshield today!
