More Painting Practice

I painted this in between preparing dinner today.  In fact, I painted two but preferred this one.  I followed a simple tutorial on skillshare.  The video was simple but assumed that the painter was already familiar was certain techniques.  I enjoyed doing this one and look forward to doing my own versions on a theme.

  7. So glad you've been doing some painting lately! I am so happy that you are having fun.

In the class I taught this week I brought a couple of my first paintings to show everyone where I started out and then showed some recent paintings for comparison. I had been seeing some of my students frustrated with how their paintings were turning out and I wanted to prove to them that everyone starts out as beginners. It's so easy to get frustrated in the beginning when learning something and claim that we're not any good. I'm so glad that you are continuing to paint even when you stated in an earlier post how you were disappointed in the results.

I think you're doing great! Keep painting!
