I spent some time in the garden yesterday and gave the grass the first cut of the year.
Gizmo was outside hiding in the leaves beneath the downstairs window. He was quite surprised when I sat on the window ledge and swung my legs out of the window onto the stool below. As both my side gate and back door are not able to be opened at the moment I have to use the window as my door way!
The weather was in complete contrast to that of the day before and I was cheered for a while with the sun on my back and no other sound except for me and the birds.
Your time in the garden sounds lovely, even the jumping through the window. Great to see Gizmo again he's a very handsome cat:)
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice respite Rosie. I endeavour to get out in the garden daily and hopefully start some seed sowing very soon. :)
DeleteSuch a beautiful photo of Gizmo. Yes, Spring is here again, let's enjoy it.

Beautiful but a naughty cat Briony! x
DeleteHello Mr. Gizmo, you handsome dude! Thanks for the chuckle you gave me this morning reading about your using a window to go in and out. We are about to begin a rather involved renovation on our century old farm house and I can well believe we may be doing the same thing at some point! Oh, and thanks for the blue sky and blooms photo. Being outdoors is one of the best remedies for what's ailing the world just now. Sending love.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite inelegant getting in and out of the window Sharon involving climbing on the dining room table and doing the limbo! I think Gizmo was surprised and bemused to watch me. Good luck with the renovations. Sending love back to you. :)
DeleteThat is a beautiful picture of Gizmo! I bet it felt great to be outside in the sunshine. We have had days of cold rainy weather and I'm more than ready for the sun.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bonnie. Wishing sunshine your way!
DeleteJust look at that sky!!! It's pouring down here today!!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Gizmo. :)
Sending you sunshine and blue sky Vivienne! :)
DeleteIt has been blissful to see the sun hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteHi T.A! A bit of respite for us all. I hope you are keeping well.
