    1. Thanks Rosie! I'm preferring the long grass - it usually looks so parched and without life when I cut it short in the summer months so I'm only going to mow the path for now. Funny enough, Gizmo isn't too fussed about the cat mint. He much prefers to chew the grass! :)

  3. Hello, Gizmo! Thanks for the peek, Simone. I love the idea of just mowing a path. Brilliant. If only I could smell those roses and bite into that luscious strawberry. Your garden is a pleasure/treasure. I hope you take lots of time to enjoy it all.

    1. Thank you Sharon. I am growing into my garden! I derive so much pleasure from it. The rose pictured is called Desdemona and is a David Austin rose - it has a lovely old fashioned rose scent. I have just purchased another David Austin rose to be delivered next week. I will share photos then! :)

  4. I love your garden and the pathway you have through it. Your roses are beautiful and I can just imagine how good those strawberries must be! That fern is amazing too - are those multiple ferns are one really large one? I love the picture of Gizmo coming down the path. It must be wonderful to sit and enjoy your lovely garden!

    1. Thank you for your kind comments Bonnie. The large fern are multiple ferns coming out of an old tree trunk. It all dies back in winter time. I rarely sit and enjoy my garden but must make time to do so! Hope you are well. :)
