In Limbo

Furniture has been rearranged.  Cushions have been plumped.  Blankets are folded.  Tables are cleared.  Keeping busy.  Trying not to think.  Must clear out kitchen cupboards.  Hen house needs cleaning out.  Don't stop.  Don't think.  Don't read.  Keep on keeping busy.

Gizmo is at the vets on a drip.  Tomorrow he will have x-rays.  Can't stop now.  Must keep busy.  Mustn't think too deeply.  Need to re-arrange kitchen shelf.

  3. Oh no Simone, thinking of you, I know how awful those horrible waits are.

  4. Been there done that only a couple of weeks back! I really though we'd seen the last of our beloved Tom (aged 15+) as he too was on a drip and tumours and diabetes were considered. He is back home now and out in the garden enjoying the sunshine and apart from his bald patches and the fact that he still needs to gain some more weight he is my old Tom again! Hope the same goes for your boy too.

  20. Sending you love and healing energies. You are an inspiration, Simone, putting your angst into constructive activity. When Gizmo gets home, feeling well and on the road to his old/new self, you'll be able to minister to his needs surrounded by serenity.
    Thinking of you strongly.
