September's End

I walked through the sun-baked farm on my way to a vine growing course at the vineyard.  The sky was cloudless and blue, the setting - harmonious.  Summer in September.

Lovely picture. I'm not a fan of horses but that big one is impressive. Did you enjoy your course?

Looks lovely, Simone. Hope you enjoyed the course. I love to see heavy horses especially working in the fields or pulling drays:)

A vine growing course sounds pleasant, was it good?
How dry the ground looks, sun-baked indeed.

The extreme heat here coupled with nights closing in very early makes for a most peculiar atmosphere! Loved your picture today. Hope you have a happy Sunday, Simone.

Lucky you to have this beauty about you. Soak it in, dear Simone.
I hope to plant some grapevines here next spring. Any suggestions to send my way??

Did you find the course helpful? Any suggestions for this new farm lady who wishes to plant vines next spring??

Mmmm- hasn't the heat been fabulous- except that it's been replaced already with torrential rain here! Hope you'll be basking in heat and loveliness for quite some time to come!
