Making Memories

Thank you for the comments on my last post.  I suppose a good reason for blogging is to make memories.  I can look back at what I have done over the last few years and feel a sense of achievement and purpose in my life.

Talking of memories, I have been busy making bracelets on memory wire.  Memory wire is great because it retains its shape and one size fits all!!!  They wind around the arm about four and a bit times and you can wear them higher up the arm or have them loose fitting around the wrist.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning one, then please leave a comment here stating which one you would prefer to win.  The only other request I have is that you must have commented here previously.

Good luck!

  2. I love them all, but I do have a thing for blues and would love to be entered for your giveaway.
Blogging is the perfect way to record our memories, good and bad.

  6. I've used my blog twice this week to look back and see what we were doing at certains times of year so you are right about the storing of memories. Your beads are so pretty but like Marigold Jam I have been the lucky recipient of one of your giveaways so please don't include me this time:)

  7. Very pretty, but don't include me as I am still enjoying my 'marble bead' bracelet.

  8. So fun seeing them all piled up on your arm like that!! Love the blues and greens. And seeing the hints of your garden in the background. Are those pink roses? :)

  9. I often browse back through my blog posts to compare what was happening, say, this time last year compared to this. I've lost interest in it at the moment but I hope I'll get back into it soon. Your bracelets are lovely - but the pinks and purples grab me the most!

  10. I don't think I've seen memory wire. Thanks for telling me about it. It would be fun to be able to wear a bracelet high on the arm like an Egyptian princess or looped round and round a narrow wrist. They're all lovely. I love how you can just push yourself out of the clutches of a despairing frame of mind and create beauty. You're an inspiration to me, Simone.
