Plaited Necklace

Moving on from pretty but simple stranded necklaces, I have had a go at making multi-stranded plaited necklaces.  These are quite time consuming to make because of all the hundreds of gemstone chips they are made up of.

This particular necklace is made of labradorite and rose quartz chips and faceted labradorite rounds.

A substantial piece of jewellery and cooling to the skin.

* I am sorry I haven't had much to say recently.  I have become quite introspective at the moment.  I know not everyone is into jewellery and gemstones and I will try to post something different next time.

  1. No worries Simone I love this necklace. I have a long fluoride necklace which I have had for 20 years, I love the coolness of the stones though it is rather heavy!

  3. Don't worry about posting something different Simone, you are obviously in the jewellery making zone and if it brings you contentment, you go for it!
    Beautiful piece of jewellery! :)

  4. I love looking at your necklaces and beautiful gem stones, Simone - don't worry about the lack of words, I feel a bit withdrawn at the moment too - it is that time of year:)

  6. I agree with Rosie, Simone - it's the time of year - I'm quite low, but trying to work through it. Your jewellery is lovely - I hope I don't miss you putting it in your shop.... Abby x
