Clarity

I finally got around to sorting out the bookshelves and surrounding area. A dusty and time consuming task but one that has brought clarity to me.

Among the books was one that I wasn't too familiar with. I then remembered that I was given a selection of my Auntie's books when she died a few years ago.

When I opened the book there was a cutting from a publication placed inside.

After reading this I had a sense of even more clarity.

  1. What a beautiful quotation, and book.
I know the sense of clarity you are feeling, Simone. It comes after reorganizing and setting things 'right'.
You've inspired me to get going on my own quest!
    The bookshelf looks great!

  2. Oh how lovely!!!!!!
I am not religious myself, so feel kind of neutral to the God references, but oh don't those word inspire so much??? Encourage us to look upon nature and the world around us and truly appreciate the beauty in the everyday.
Thanks for sharing Simone, hope your fidgets are subsiding a little, I can so identify. I have corners of my home which make your bookcase look pristine.
    Love to youxxxxxxxx

  3. Wow... it's amazing the many ways God will reach to us and speak to us, if we only watch and listen for Him!

  4. Isn't that lovely? It's always good to have a reminder to pay attention to what's important. I keep worrying about money and yet all those wonderous things are free for us all to enjoy :)

  13. What a lovely treasure to find - that's one thing I do love about cleaning, finding things you'd forgotten about or never even found in the first place! That's why it takes me forever and a day to clean - I just have to stop and treasure everything I find :o)
