This morning was a different story. The sky was blue with a few fluffy clouds and the air was calm and fresh.
I noticed that the berries were plentiful on my Pyracantha. A good source of food for the birds in the coming months. I started to feel more positive and hopeful. I thought I would share this quote about hope with you. 'Hope is like a bird that senses the dawn and carefully starts to sing while it is still dark' - Anonymous.
On to lighter things now! The lovely Lyn from Everydaylife sent me my Pay it Forward package (PIF) last week and what a treat it was to receive! Lots of beautifully wrapped packages full of handmade goods. Thank you so much Lyn. It must have taken you a lot of time and effort to put together. I don't want to give too much away as to what I got in case the other PIF recipients haven't received theirs yet. I will probably send my PIF packages out sometime in January.
I am so glad you enjoyed the PIF goodies. And Gizmo liked his mouse I see!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the grey November days, it gets you down but after December 21st ith days get longer!!

Know what you mean about the grey, windswept days - I've been feeling low recently, too. What lovely festive looking gifts you have received from Lyn to brighten up the day. Gizmo looks so pleased with his mouse:)
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful quote, thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThese grey days make me wish I had a cat to sit on my lap in the evening! I do love a ginger cat!
Oh I love your cat! Can I have him please?? Beautiful photos at the start by the way - I know it's difficult to stay up beat at the moment with the weather being so unpredictable!
