Blank Pages

Well, here we are at the edge of a new year. I see the new year as a book of blank pages ready to be filled, a blank canvas, a fresh start.

I look forward slightly apprehensive and yet excited for the months ahead.

This year is going to be a year of doing rather than dreaming for me. A year of action!

I hope to fill the pages ahead with learning new skills, growing more things in the garden, getting closer to nature and continuing to explore my creative side.

What do you aim to put in your book in 2010?

I'm up for fun this year - all told, last year was a bit serious, but this one feels different!

I love those blank pages...all that potential! Like you, I'll be focusing on action (rather than dreaming...!).

Simone...I love the thought of all those empty pages to fill with dreams and aspirations. Me? I think I'll be quite busy with watching my three little granddaughters! Not going to be much time for blogging and crafting except, perhaps, in the evenings. But, my plan is to 'live in the moment' and see what transpires! Happy New Year, sweet Simone!

Happy New Year to you Dear Simone!

I love that you are creating this journal, it is something I am doing myself and I like the thought of what might be created from it in time.

Wishing you a succulent journey, looking forward to seeing new art too!

So far the only thing that's going in to my book is hopefully learning how to crochet. Fingers crossed for that one!

However I hope there'll be more going in there as the year progresses, just have to wait and see!

Oh Simone, what a nice post!
I'm hoping to create more artwork and possibly sell some of it and donate some to charitable causes.
I'm also hoping to become a better cook - something I have been lacking in!!
Best wishes to you in all your endeavors for the new year!
