Effortless

'Simone is capable of much more but no effort is ever made.'

Quote from 1978 school report.

I agree! It took no effort whatsoever to polish off this mound of ginger oat biscuits. No effort at all. (A little effort was required to make them though.)

  1. Oh yum, they look gorgeous Simone. Going to have to get a cuppa now and raid the leftover yukky bits in the biccy tin. x

  6. That made me chuckle, Simone - I used to get 'could try harder' or 'could do better' comments:) Your biscuits look wonderful no wonder they didn't last very long!

  7. Oh my... that brings back some memories of my high school days in England. When I didn't do as well one year as I had done the previous year, my old-school, very strict geography teacher wrote, "A sad fall from grace." Yikes! I remember wondering just exactly how far I'd fell???? :-)

  9. I those school reports! I remember one of mine which said 'I am surprised that she has had to be told more than once not to eat in class'.
Now if that one isn't the caption for a plate of cookies...

  11. We would have all done a lot better if they'd used reverse psychology back then! Time and time again I read on my reports, lacks confidence. What help's that? Anyway the biscuits look d-licious. You really can't beat a good Delia recipe. x
