Frosty Rose

Most of the plants in the garden have succumbed to the frost. The compassion rose above refuses to be dictated to by the weather and the seasons. She blooms whenever she wants to bloom. Fragile in appearance, her looks deceive. She is resilient and hardy. She is a metaphor for life.

  8. What a beautiful photo and beautiful thoughts to go with it... do you have snow yet? We woke to a covering yesterday and it is still here, despite no more snowfall since, so it seems the cold is here to stay for a while! The smell as I open the door takes me right back to my winter in Russia, which was one of my hardest and yet so beautiful in many ways, there really is always two sides to everything and your rose photo shows that so well. Thank you for sharing it with us all xx
