Poems. Ponderings. Pictorials
I truly love poppies, I think it's because they are so delicate and yet so strong. To tell the truth I thought is was a Peony when I saw the first picture.Gorgeous rainbow, I can't remember the last time I saw one either.Brionyx
They propagate very easily Simone, they're growing even on stones at my place!xxx
I first thought it was a Peony too.... love Poppies though and those alien type seed heads
What a stunning poppy - and a wonderful surprise for you to find there! Lovely to see all the buds too - so there will be lots more for you to enjoy. I still find the sight of a rainbow magical - they are quite rare so to see one always feels special. I like your 'three unique things ' idea. Hope you have a happy nearly weekend.Helen x

That really is a very pretty poppy and there are still many buds to unfurl to make more beautiful flowers:)

Your poppy is gorgeous. It looks like a peony. But maybe I have peonies on my mind because ours are all blooming right now. Your brownies look delicious. My mom made some this week with nuts. And I did gave some unique things in my day. An encounter with a sweet toad and the discovery of four little bluebird eggs in the bluebird house!Hope today is filled with uniqueness.
