Art Happens

I thought I would talk you through the complicated process of creating the effects on the cards above.  Here we go.

1. Pour assorted drawing inks onto a plastic sheet.

2. Drag card stock through the ink

Done!

I could not believe the effects that were achieved by carrying out this simple process.  I have not touched up or altered the cards in any way.  They are exactly as they came out!  In the card on the left I see a Caterpillar under a canopy.  In the middle card I see a landscape and in the card on the right I see a fat little tree and a dark moon.  What can you see?

There's definitely a volcanic eruption in the first one, I too can see a landscape in the second but I just love the colours in the third!

  10. Wonderful effects, Simone! I can see the caterpillar too! Sometimes playing with paint like this can create the most ethereal landscapes. Hope you are having a happy week.

  12. These are so cool! I see the same things you do, but in the first one it looks like a caterpillar under the Northern Lights!
I will have to try this out myself!
