Ladies who Lunch

I am probably going to make these in to gift tags and list them in my Etsy shop.  They are very time consuming to make with their tea stained paper doily collars!  I would imagine there is a Maud and a Marjorie in the line up!

Thank you all for your good wishes for Gizmo.  I have had a long phone conversation with the vet and agreed to give Gizmo the prescribed antibiotics for a week and then take it from there.  I will update you with his progress.

Have a lovely weekend. x

  1. Marjorie is wearing the hat with the flowers. They are marvellous Simone, I've never seen anything like them, well done.

Hugs for Gizmo, but very gently.

  6. Simone,
Interesting to know that bit about the tea stained paper doily collars. Should you decide to put them in your shop be sure to note this detail as those "little things" bring value, authenticity, and originality to your work. They are very dear. Love the prints of their frocks, too.

  10. Dear Simone,

First, those tea sipping ladies are absolutely adorable. Iwould gladly take them home with me.

But this talk os Gizmo is bringing out a lot of emotions in me. I can imagine the fear, stress and anger you are experiencing right now. A sick pet is a difficult thing to experience; we love our animals so much and I always find it hard as they cannot explain their discomfort to us with words.

I recall my parents' cat, who lived until a ripe old age, coughing up hair balls in summer and vomiting too. I admire you for standing your ground with the vet.

I shall be following with interest and empathy.

    Stephanie
