Seeking Joy

I continue to write in my Joy Every Day book. Sometimes the joy is hard to find but then I seek it out.  So far I have written about the following things:

Listening to the wind as it whispered about my ears .  It made me think about listening more and paying attention to the sounds around me.

Lighting scented tea lights and being soothed by their calming effect.

Fun stickers!

Losing a stone (14lbs) on my *diet in just 5 weeks.  Just 5 1/2 lbs to go.

Hanging washing  outside on the line on an occassion when it wasn't raining!

Beautiful perfume put on at night to have scented sweet dreams.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

*For those who were wondering:  I have been on the dukan diet and followed it religiously.  I can't wait to get to the next phase of the diet when I can eat fruit and carbohydrates again!!!

You are doing well in your Joy book aren't you. Fun stickers, indeed - sparkly too!

How on earth did you lose all that weight so quickly?

Sounds like you are going great guns on your diet. I think it's great that you are keeping your joy journal, it's what i try to do in my Grateful post each month.

I've never understood English measurements. One stone doesn't sound like much, but 14 pounds is marvelous. Good job!
Lovely rose photo, by the way.
