Making Cards

I am working on lots of ranges of cards at the moment.  The one above is especially for the guys!  Try as I might, I can't really get great photos of the things I am making.  I had a fellow Etsian critique my shop and she said I needed to take better quality photos.  The trouble is I just point the camera and click!  I am useless with photo shop and the photo enhancement packages!  I guess I will get to grips with it all in time.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend, however you choose to spend it.

  2. Cute card Simone. :)
It really is hard to get good photos, I try to get them outside but out of direct sunlight but even then I'm not always happy with results.
    Have a wonderful weekend. :)

  4. Thank you for the necklace, it arrived while I was away. The beads are gorgeous, just my colours, and it's the perfect length too.

i bet you'd enjoy taking the photos
    more
if you found a shady spot
outside (the card needs to be tilted
    slightly downward toward the camera)
    happy creating!

  8. What a cute card Simone, simple but very effective.

Have you thought of using a photo tent? My husband bought me one from either Amazon or EBay and it's great, it comes with 3 or 4 different colour backgrounds, folds away for easy storage and it wasn't expensive.
