Tomorrow on November 1st, I start my 30 day project of learning 10 Latin words, phrases or sayings, each day for 30 days. I won't blog about it each day but will keep you posted on how well I am doing from time to time.
A freshly made pumpkin pie awaits me. I cheated and used Libby's tinned pumpkin and followed the recipe on the side of the tin. Generally I find fresh pumpkin a bit too fibrous and stringy and prefer to use that for soups.

Glad your mojo returned the brooches are certainly very pretty. Never made pumpkin pie and must say squashes of any kind don't really do it for me so like Toffeeapple I'll pass on that!

You have been busy making flower brooches - they are very pretty - and pumpkin pie too. Last year we grew pumpkins in the garden, carved them for lanterns and made both soup and pie. This year with the weather being so bad we never even planted any seeds - so no pumpkins for today and only a few 'trick or treat' callers this evdening all clutching umbrellas:)

Tempus Fugit! HA HA... I only know that Latin phrase since it was the name of our high school yearbook. It means TIME FLIES...but I am sure you knew that already...and it's true too, isn't it? xx
