Peddling Wares

The manager of the Vineyard has asked me to bring some of my craft items to sell on a few occassions.  I have always been reluctant to do so for several reasons; How can I present my goods?  What if people think my work is rubbish?  How will I cope with rejection?  What price point will I sell at? etc etc........

This Wednesday, after a couple of practice sessions at home on setting out my goods, I took a leap of faith and took a selection of items to sell during the tea break.

Whilst people were merry on mulled wine they were able to make some last minute Christmas purchases and I felt quite at home chatting, wrapping and selling!  It really gave me a long awaited confidence boost and I went home richer in many ways.  Onwards and upwards is now the only way to go.

  9. Good for you for having done it Simone. It's quite an experience isn't it? You never know if you will sell and what will sell as it varies from fair to fair. Will you do it again?
