An impromptu few hours at the beach
Watching the sunlight on the water and ripples in the sand

Listening to and watching grasshoppers in the dry grasses
Enjoying a chilled glass of wine on a dry and dusty day
Making positive affirmation stones
If
you would like to take part in the savor summer project then please
click on the savor summer picture link in the side bar or see my
previous post about Anne's project here.
On
Monday's we will be doing Joy in July posts and on Friday's a post
about either (creative) play, books, recipes or homemade spa items. It
would be great if you would like to join in and play along.
Hopefully
we can all inspire each other to make the most of Summer 2015 and savor
the longer and warmer days storing up lots of lovely memories for later
in the year.
On Friday I have a creative play post coming up for you using seashells. If you are lucky enough to get to a beach this year, then don't forget to pick up a few seashells and pebbles for future projects.

See you on Friday!
Think I will make a few of those

ReplyDeleteWe have lost our summer weather at the moment, temporarily I hope, I'm still determined to have fun though!
Have a good week,

Love your painted pebbles Simone, this seems like a good idea. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the seashells, I have a bowl full of them collected over the years:)
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely stones, Simone! Did you paint them before lettering? And your penmanship is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to the beach - we haven't made it yet this summer!! xx
Hi Judy! I am afraid that isn't my beautiful penmanship - it is in fact rub on transfers! The beach was a fleeting visit of less than a couple of hours whilst visiting a University. x
ReplyDeleteWe always collect some pebbles and seashells whenever we get the chance.
ReplyDeleteLove this post. The sunlight on water links me back to such fond memories of living along Lake Michigan in Illinois and summer vacations at Ice Lake, Michigan.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see I'm not the only one who loves stones. I used to carry one in my pocket as a worry stone. I think I'll start doing this again and when my fingers close over it I'll think of my friend in England and be soothed.
I love going to the seaside, I love the stones they look so pretty xx
