Reminiscing About Kitten Days

Looking at Lyn's post on her new kitten family it reminded me of when we first got Gizmo 8 years ago!  Here he is pictured above.  He had such a tiny little tail back then that grew into a great big bushy fox like tail.  He looks so timid in that photo but from day one he showed who boss was!

It has been a very strange week.  On Monday I put up some photos of me on this blog, then I took them down.  I put the photos back up yesterday and then took them down again!  I would like you to see who writes this blog at some stage but perhaps not such close up mug shots!

I'm in one of my fidgety moods today.  There are some uncertainties in my life at the moment and I feel that I can't settle until things are put into place.  Hopefully things will be ironed out shortly.

Gizmo looks so sweet in that picture.
On both occasions I missed your photos, just too late, the story of my life!

Who could have resisted such a cutie?? Cats give us so much joy, don't they?

How sweet Gizmo looked as a little kitten! And very cosy with that nice crochet blanket to snuggle in too. Sorry I missed your pictures earlier this week, Simone. Maybe you will put them up again....
Hope all is well for you this week.

As usual, Gizmo melts my heart! I did catch your pictures yesterday and I thought you looked very attractive. I'm sorry you took them down. I hope your problems sort themselves out swiftly.

Awe look how cute little Gizmo is!
Your post of the photos appeared in my reader but when I clicked on it, you were gone, I did manage to see the first one though and it looked lovely.
Hope you feel more settled soon, I hate that feeling but hopefully it will pass quickly.

Oooh, he was so sweet! No wonder you fell in love with him!

I can relate to the fidgety mood, the uncertainties and waiting for things to smooth out. We need to remind ourselves that these things are temporary. I know how hard it is!

Sharing photos of ourselves can be so hard. Only do it if you're comfortable with it. If not... it's no big deal. You could always create a self-portrait, a sketch or painting or collage...

Wishing you a quick resolution to all those uncertainties.

Oh, I am so missing my Henry cat. Sometimes I think I see him out of the corner of my eye, and then I remember that he is gone. Your sweet little Gizmo put a smile on my face, and has reminded me that sometime I will be ready for another kitty or two. xo
