Tulips

There is not much I want to post about just now.  I am consumed with creating as a diversion, so I will continue showing the paper collages that I have been doing.  Little and often every day I show up to the table and paint, cut or stick.

It was fun to arrange the flowers on the paper but once they're stuck they're stuck!  I hope you enjoy seeing what I have been making.  The process is for me, a meditation.

  4. It is lovely to see what you make - the Tulips are a pretty colour, I do like the orange ones and Sainsbury's are selling little posies of tulips for £2.50 at the moment which is great as they are so cheerful to have around the house.

    1. I think most people are curious as to what other people are doing. Have a great weekend Rosie and stay safe if it is stormy! :)

  7. Hi, Simone! Your tulips are beautiful! Seeing all your gorgeous collages has me wanting to get out my papers and scissors. It's been a long time since I've done any collage.

So glad you're on a creative roll with these.

    Have a lovely week!

    1. Anne, I am really enjoying collage right now especially with my own painted papers. I noticed that you did collage in the past in your sketchbooks and I would encourage you to do some more as a break from your beautiful watrercolours. :)

    1. Welcome back Ethel!!! So good to see you here again. I have Clover Robin's book and she was the inspiration I needed to take up collage. I used to do lots of cutting up paper projects years ago and have fallen in love with it again. Please give collage a go - it is great fun! I am very well thank you and hope you are too. x
