First Birthday!

My first blog post was on March 1st 2008, so today I have been blogging for a year. The first post was about memories of Sunday tea-time as a child and included a recipe for Victoria Sponge Cake. I must make one this week! As I didn't have a Birthday cake to show I thought you might like to see the plant above. It is a fancy flowered primrose and rather cheery to look at on this overcast and dreary day. This is going to be a very busy month in the garden as there is much to be sown, grown on, planted, cut back and re-organised so I best get to it!

    Happy Blogiversary Simone. I'm coming up to a year as well this month and have to say I enjoy it even more now than when I started blogging. Hope the good weather continues so that you can crack on in the garden.

    Happy first birthday Simone! That primrose is very pretty isn't it? There's another area where you're talented - gardening. I'm hopeless! I only have to spot a worm and I go running back inside again!! What a wimp eh? :0)

    Congratulations on reaching your first birthday! It's been 1 month for me today too! long way to go yet but I love to read your blog and yes it's going to be a busy time in the garden, though I think the cold is due back this week so don't put any tenders out there, your poor primrose will not like it. It's so pretty and the colour goes with your blanket-I'm rambbling now...sorry!
