Things I am Thankful for - no.1

Ginny over at Sweet Myrtle thought it would be a good idea to look at the things in life we are grateful for during this dark month of November. Today I am grateful for a bowl of steaming hot porridge topped with local pears and berries.

What are you grateful for? Click on the button on the top right of the sidebar if you would like to join Ginny in her month of thankfulness.

  1. That looks delicious and filling. I've got out of my porridge habit but should get back to it now it's chilly in the mornings.

  3. Hello Simone
What an inspiring post! Your porridge would make me delighted too first thing of an autumnal morning!!

Today, I am grateful for new ideas blossoming (crochet and arty things mostly), a wonderful and enriching evening at the pub with friends last night, he return of the birds to our garden, slivers of watery sunshine on a wet and turbulent day, home made chocolate and brazil nut flapjack...Oh I could go on and on today!!

    Sending love

  5. Thanks for letting us know Simone. I have been over to Ginny's to pick up the button tout de suite! I so enjoyed noticing things last month. J has a bowl or porridge without fail every morning. I love the smell but not the taste. I have natural yogurt and muesli. I love your photo, it's a right daddy bear size portion! x
