Walking Poetry

Another long walk today.  I came home and wrote a poem about unrequited love.

I wish I had never set eyes on your beautiful face

Your knowing eyes

Your enigmatic smile

I wish I could forget you

I wish I could release my caged heart

And breathe again

I wish the tears would stop flowing

I wish I could stop the yearning

And live again

I wish I had never set eyes on your beautiful face

I wish your beautiful face

Was on mine

  4. Simone,

This is quite beautiful. Dare I ask if you are writing about a personal experience? Forgive me for being overly curious.

    Have a peaceful weekend.

you really have a gift for writing

i have sadly still not got your beads in the post, the people that usually post things for me are either away or very busy right now. i have decided that as they are going to arrive rather late for the necklace i will add a few more so that you can make a little bracelet to go with it, i'll also send a couple of the little calcite crytals i've found in our field too.

    warmest imbolc wishes xxx
